Wallex Has Evolved! We're Now M-DAQ Trading (HK) Limited!

We’ve an exciting announcement to make! As of 18 March 2024, Wallex Technologies International Limited completed its evolution and has become M-DAQ Trading (HK) Limited! This name change follows our name change in Singapore from Wallex Technologies Pte. Ltd. to M-DAQ Payment Solutions Pte. Ltd.

For us, this is a pivotal point. It marks Wallex’s full integration into M-DAQ Global following the acquisition – as we work towards becoming ASEAN's leading payments specialist.

To our trusted and valued customers, rest assured that you will continue to interact with the Wallex brand and have full access to the same top-quality service and support that you have grown accustomed to.  

The name change symbolises M-DAQ Global coming together to create stronger opportunities to build new innovative and cutting-edge cross-border solutions, creating a multiplier effect and results that speak for themselves. With the resource backing of the Group, Wallex as a Business Unit (BU) has flourished, expanding our team by over 80% since the deal announcement in early 2022.  

With such positive momentum, M-DAQ Trading (HK) Limited will be a critical pillar of M-DAQ Global as we embark on our goal to becoming a one-stop ASEAN payments hub for businesses.  

Following the name change, Co-founder/Head of Wallex SBU Hiro Kiga will be appointed as the General Manager, Payments of M-DAQ Global. Hiro had this to share with us:
