PSA: An Enhanced Onboarding & Sign-In Experience for Wallex HK

As of 23 March 2024, all Wallex users in Hong Kong will be greeted with a fresh user interface and an enhanced onboarding & sign-in process at Wallex Hong Kong, aimed at making it simpler and more secure for you.

Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of what you can expect with the enhancement.

What Has Changed?

1. Simplified Sign-in Experience

Gone are the days of juggling with multiple usernames! To make life easier for you, email will now be the primary method to sign in to the Wallex platform.

With an email-centric sign-in process in place, users can securely sign in using their registered email address and enjoy enhanced security and individualised user access.

2. Seamless User Interface on Wallex Dashboard

Your feedback on the hassle of juggling multiple accounts has not gone unnoticed.

Our enhanced “Single Sign-On" dashboard now enables all Wallex HK users to navigate between their accounts with ease, using just one pair of sign-in credentials.  

This upgrade guarantees a seamless transition between your multiple accounts on the Wallex HK Dashboard.

3. Enhanced Onboarding Experience

Our new onboarding process tailors the onboarding experience based on your needs – company type, industry, structure and more.

This allows for a more seamless experience by significantly reducing the time it takes for you to submit the right level of information and related documents.

4. New Look & Feel of the Platform

For the keen-eyed users, you may have already spotted something different about our platform. If you did, you’re spot on!

As part of our recent rebranding, we have updated the look and feel of the platform. So, take your time to get familiar with the new look!  

What Should You Take Note Of?

Email Sign-In

Once the changes kick in, email will be the primary sign-in method for all Wallex users. You will be able to sign in with the email address that you originally registered with. Your password will remain the same, ensuring a seamless transition.

To ensure security, every Wallex user is required to have a unique email address.  

Should your account details have been affected, you should have received an email from our team informing you of the actions required.  

If you missed the email or have further questions, simply drop your Account Manager or Relationship Manager a message to sort it out!

Enhanced User Features: Admin Role

As part of the new user interface, we are introducing a brand new “Admin” role! As we continue to enhance our features based on your valued feedback, we discovered the need to have a user who has top-level access to manage and edit the corporate account details where necessary.

With the “Admin” role having the highest level of access – above that of the “Approver” role – the Admin will have additional features such as the ability to invite users to the corporate account.

FAQ

What is the difference between the old sign-in and new sign-in?

Currently, the existing sign-in method is via username and password. Moving forward, this will be replaced with your unique email address for Wallex Hong Kong users.

If I cannot log into my account, what should I do?

Please contact our support team at [email protected] or your Account Manager directly.

How do I update the contact details in my account?

You can update the email address or contact details associated with your account by downloading this form: https://help.wallex.asia/updating-email-address-or-contact-number.

Send in your completed form to [email protected] and our support team will take it from there.

How does Wallex guarantee security of my transactions?

The security of our platform is of utmost priority to us. In fact, the migration from a username sign-in to an email sign-in method is not just a routine platform update.  

These enhancements add a substantial layer of protection and reflects our commitment to security, ensuring that you can carry out transactions with peace of mind.

Furthermore, the introduction of the Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will further fortify security with its comprehensive embedded security flow that ensures the authenticity of users.
